His experience has encompassed global procurement management, finance, project leadership, and organizational transformation. His clients have included global and boutique marketing communications agencies. His extensive corporate background spans senior positions at Mattel, Inc. and Diageo plc in the US and the UK.

From 2005 to 2008, David served as Vice President, Global Procurement for Mattel, Inc., where he led the strategic sourcing of $1+ billion globally of indirect goods and services, such as advertising, marketing, supply chain services, IT & HR. He successfully increased the exposure and credibility of the Global Procurement organization worldwide, and led continuous improvement efforts to optimize quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness. He personally led the initiative to source an agency to handle Mattel’s International Division media account.

From 2000 to 2005, David was an independent business services consultant. During that time, he worked on a number of assignments, including shared services design & implementation, acquisition due diligence, corporate finance support, and business outsourcing.

Between 1988 and 2000, David worked for Diageo plc and its predecessor organization, Guinness plc. He had a number of increasingly senior Finance roles domestically and internationally, including Division Controller for the $8bn wines & spirits division, and, in a departure from Finance, established a cross-divisional procurement organization. A number of his Diageo & Guinness roles involved significant organizational change and these roles, among others, have resulted in David having a strong change management focus.

In his earlier career, David held several finance roles at SBK Entertainment World, Inc in New York, CBS in New York and London, and public accounting in London.

David received his MBA from Rutgers University and is a UK Chartered Accountant.
