Donna Wiederkehr
Consultant
Donna Wiederkehr is a senior business development strategist. She is working with the team at the Mirren New Business Conference to shape agency stories and pitch strategies.
Prior to consulting, Donna was at Lowe NY where she transformed the agency's go-to-market strategy and resulting win rate. In 16 short months Lowe added 8 new clients (including Outback Steakhouse, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Wisk, Zicam, and Lunesta) and was named Comeback Agency of the Year. Prior to Lowe she lead the new business effort for Campbell MIthun in Mpls.
Donna was drawn to business development after 15+ years in Account Management leading integrated teams for Alberto Culver, Coca-Cola, DowBrands, General Mills, Ocean Spray, Qwest and Toro. Recognizing her aptitude for growing business, her management team decided she should focus on that full time….and she's stayed energized every day since.
She is well suited to share Mirren’s point of view on effective RFPs, as she has converted 100% in the past 18 months.
As for the unexpected, Donna held 14 world records in hot air balloons and was the manager for the US Bobsled team when they competed in the European Championships. She was also a charter executive member for IPG’s Women’s Leadership Network, a focused effort on behalf of Michael Roth and the Board to recruit, retain and promote women in all their agencies.
Today she spends every remaining ounce of energy she has creating new families for orphaned and abandoned kids in Rwanda. Ask her and perhaps she’ll inspire you to join her on her next trip there.
