Wendy Hagen is a Washington DC-based search consultant and communications strategist with extensive experience working with corporations, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and trade associations.Â Wendy brings a unique perspective from both sides of the new business table:Â she managed new business programs for a number of leading advertising and public relations firms; managed a national agency search on the client side; and currently serves as a search consultant for clients looking to identify advertising, PR, public affairs, digital and research partners.
Wendyâ€™s recent search experience includes working with a global security and aerospace company, two oil and natural gas industry trade associations, a global youth development nonprofit, a seafood promotion group and a top-secret government contractor.
Prior to launching her own consultancy in 2009, Wendy was a partner with global public relations firm Porter Novelli.Â Formerly she served as EVP/Chief Marketing Officer with Arnold Worldwide.Â Prior to that, she was Director of Creative Resources for Lockheed Martin, where she directed the global corporate advertising program.
Wendy is a member of the Board of Directors of the Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, where she serves on the Executive Committee and chairs the Marketing Committee.Â She is also a member of the Advertising Club of Metropolitan Washington Board of Directors. From 2001-2011, Wendy served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
Wendy is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Georgetown University. She lives inÂ Dupont Circle with her husband, Don, and their dog, Riley.
